Knowing how to best care for your pet can be a real challenge, especially with so much misinformation and inflated expectations.
A bandage over a wound keeps new infections from entering, but it is the body that heals itself. In the same way, a good treatment enables the body to do its own healing.
For example, if your pet has an irregular blood pressure, instead of using a drug that would regulate it, we would administer a remedy or treatment in accordance with all symptoms to achieve normal blood pressure.
The allopathic approach may also achieve normal blood pressure, but it also makes your pet dependant on drugs (take the drug away and the blood pressure issue reappears).
The long term health of your pet can be increased and the total cost of ownership can be lowered by preventative measures. The holistic route is also less stress for the liver and kidneys, further extending the life of your pet.
Odie was severely anemic and at high risk for anesthesia before a dental, but ozone treatments using his own blood allowed him to undergo the cleaning.
Three more ozone treatments a week apart and not only did it make him feel better, but after 6 weeks from the start of these treatments he had normal bloodwork!
“Odie” is an 8 year old intact male Dachshund. He was seen at an office visit for poor appetite for the last two weeks, physical depression, very thirsty, and licking and chewing at his feet. There was no history of any previous veterinary care.
On physical exam, he was depressed, had pale gums, and severe dental disease.
Later that week he was scheduled for a dental.
On the day of the dental, pre-anesthetic bloodwork was performed and he was found to be severely anemic. The owner was alerted to his condition and was told that he was at a high anesthetic risk for the dental. We were given permission to pursue the dental and while he was under we gave him a treatment with Ozone therapy using his own blood. Three more treatments were done at a week apart.
These major auto-transfusion treatments with Ozone not only made him feel better, but after 6 weeks from the start of these treatments, he had normal bloodwork.
Pearl only needed two doses of a natural remedy to correct the acute flareup of her chronic disease state. No other treatments were necessary and her body healed itself. In twenty-four hours or less she was back to her normal self.
“Pearl” is a cream colored 4 year old female Standard Poodle. She was presented for homeopathic evaluation on a Friday afternoon. She had been sick since Monday of that week with bouts of bloody diarrhea. On Tuesday, the owner dropped her off at her conventional veterinarian for treatment. She was hospitalized until Friday morning and sent home. On the way home, she had an explosive episode of bloody diarrhea in the back seat of the car.
At the homeopathic consultation, a thorough history was taken and a physical exam performed. After an analysis of natural remedies, one dose of the acute remedy was given by mouth to “Pearl” at around 3PM that afternoon. The owner was sent home with two more doses of the same remedy and instructed to give the next dose at 6 PM. At 7:30 PM, Dr. Heusler received a progress report. “Pearl” did not have any more bouts of diarrhea and she was already feeling better. The owner was instructed not to give the third dose since she was on her way to recovery. On the next day, the owner reported good energy levels. She was eating and drinking fine and she was pretty well back to her normal self.
In conclusion, “Pearl” only needed two doses of a natural remedy to correct the acute flareup of her chronic disease state. No other treatments were necessary and her body healed itself. In twenty-four hours or less she was back to her normal self.
Thank you so much for helping us keep homeopathy
The FDA may begin to require excessive testing from the makers of homeopathic remedies which will cripple their ability to deliver them and our ability as holistic providers to use them in our practices.
This will happen if the FDA treats homeopathic remedies as new drugs, which they are not, as most homeopathic remedies date back two hundred years.
Leaving a comment to the FDA will help us inform them that these new regulations are not in the interest of the public, neither you as owners of pets nor us as holistic care providers.
